Digital Services Act – Argumentation for an Exemption for Not-for-profit Scientific and Educational Repositories

Science Europe joins forces with partners (the Confederation on Open Access Repositories (COAR), the European University Association (EUA), the Association of European Research Libraries (LIBER), and SPARC Europe) to argue for an exemption for not-for-profit scientific and educational repositories in the Digital Services Act (DSA).

The DSA proposal is currently discussed by the European Parliament and the EU Council and Science Europe and partners aim to avoid negative impacts of this business-oriented piece of legislation on the research sector.
